- Work you’ll do (CL3 – Analyst):
- Manages the development, creation and maintenance of registration sites
- Collaborates with meeting planners and internal clients to understand the meeting objectives and related registration requirements to effectively build registration site with appropriate logic and questions. Responsible for analyzing the meeting details provided by the internal client to determine how the registration site should be built.
- Delivers exceptional client service with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach
- Provides insight and recommendations on the development and design of registration sites to meeting planners and internal clients
- Interacts with internal clients at all levels
- Collaborates with planning team in handling housing & special requests
- Required to extract the information from the registration system and then format the reports appropriately.
- Responsible for creating customized reports as per the meeting requirements
- Responsible for handling financial charge backs for no-shows, and cancellations.
- Special Projects as assigned by the Manager
- Understand participant inquiries and exercise judgment in creating polite responses in a timely fashion.
- Develop familiarity with the registration applications and be able to use it to trouble- shoot participant inquiries.
- Resolves issues for invitees and addresses complex issues and questions related to the registration site. (Customer service – housing, program or technical questions).
- Strict adherence to registration process and brand standards.
- Ability to work independently and successfully manage workload for multiple meetings in various stages simultaneously.
Key skills, capabilities and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years of related experience, preferably in meetings/events, technology, project management or hospitality industry
- This position requires excellent judgment and responsiveness to successfully and timely manage registration, waitlists, answering questions of meeting attendees and internal clients, handling special requests by meeting attendees, correspondence with meeting attendees, adherence to timelines, housing deadlines and reports
- Must possess proficient knowledge of written & spoken English to be able to comprehend and formulate responses to people at various levels within the firm
- Must have strong working knowledge of Outlook, MS-Office specifically MS-Excel
- Ability to multi-task and multi-process in an organized fashion. Good organizational skills a must
- Understanding of US business culture and desire to increase this skill set through experiential learning.
